I've consistently received great care from this GP practice. The receptionists are nearly always upbeat and helpful, even when it is very busy. Booking appointments is usually straightforward either online or by telephoning. My only suggestion for improvement with this would be to have a waiting system of some kind for the emergency line in the morning - it is frustrating having to endlessly hit redial rather than joining a hold queue! I couldn't rate the GPs or nurses highly enough. I'm not very good with needles, but the nurse was patient and kind while taking blood and gave me enough time to fully recover - I didn't feel rushed. The same is true of the GPs. They are always sympathetic and give you enough time to fully explain your symptoms. Unlike some other surgeries I have been to, I don't feel rushed through my appointments and I feel like the doctor really cares about my well-being. Thank you very much, Madeira medical, for being an excellent surgery. Please keep going as you are and continue to provide the high standard of care that I feel I can rely on.

As a result of relocations in recent months, my family and I have experienced the work of two earlier surgeries and consider the service provided by the receptionists and doctors at Madeira Road the best we have received. Thank you.

Phoned for an emergency appointment for a 20 month old with a rash and was told that we were 15th in the queue for an emergency appointment and we were advised that it would be quicker to pop into out local walk in centre. Subsequently found out that the local walk in centres do not accept children under 2 years old so the Madeira receptionists appear to lack basic knowledge and were referred back to Madeira who conveniently forgot their recommendation. Still waiting for the on-call doctor to call us...foe whatever good that will do. Pathetic service for an infant

Never had any problems during the sixty plus years that I have been connected with this Practice. Usual wait for appointments if one want's to see a specific doctor. But if your problem is really urgent have nearly always been fitted in that day or next. Have to admit I find it difficult to make suggestions for improvement, as currently I believe it is pretty well run considering the ever increasing population.
